Sunday School

We are aware of the necessity inside the Church to raise our kids in the genuine faith of the Church.
It is our responsibility to raise our children to be true Christians and to be taught the proper method to go at the appropriate time. It’s crucial to advance in one’s understanding of God beginning at a young age.
Parents and teachers should set good examples and provide appropriate guidance. The Sunday School has developed into a significant spiritual institution of this Parish because of this.
Following the founding of our congregation, the St. Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church Sunday School Perth was founded on May 1, 2022.
With prayer and a devotional song, Sunday school runs prior to the Holy Qurbana, with classes ranging from kindergarten through year 12. where our children are instructed to worship and live in God.

Activities like picture colouring for kindergartners, prayer songs, sports and games, elocution, devotional songs, Bible spotting, Bible quizzes, and singing competitions are regularly scheduled and held in order to instil religious beliefs in children, encourage their participation, and foster a sense of congregational community fellowship.

Church Choir

Our choir’s motto has always been to sing in unison, concentrate on worshipping God, and spread the gospel.
The dedicated choir members, who formed in 2022, sing with a true, sincere heart, striking the perfect chords inside us and evoking a sense of divine unity with God.
The Church Choir Leader is supported by a welcoming and lively group of singers from all walks of life under the direction of the Vicar. We live in a friendly neighbourhood and enjoy each other’s company. We perform for the church’s Sunday services as a communal choir.

Women’s Association

In our church, the ladies’ Association, also known as the Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam, which is made up of all the ladies, plays a very important function.
Our mission is to establish prayer groups made up of all the parish’s female members, lead them in hymn-singing, and ask God to meet their needs as well as those of the church and the wider community via the intercession of the Holy and Ever Virgin Saint Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ.
Another important goal of the Saint Mary Women’s Association is to provide assistance to underprivileged and needy church members and members of our community.

Youth Association

The purpose of the Youth Association of our church is to inspire the young people who attend to grow in their faith in Christ and engage in deserving endeavours that will improve the world in which we live. Young people have the chance to “be good and do good” through the lively activities of the youth association.
